ABOUT US

BRX represents the optimal time to spend with others. “Brix,” by definition, is a measurement of the sugar content in grapes and wine. When grapes reach 25 degrees “brix,” they have reached their optimal time for the wine harvest. We want our restaurant to be that optimal & perfect place for you to gather with family and friends.

BRX American Bistro offers Great Falls and neighboring communities a cozy location where you can take your family or meet with your friends for quality time while enjoying great food and drinks.

The large dining room and outdoor patio offer a casual and comfortable ambiance to savor our cuisine. Our bar area is the ideal place to sip a glass of wine from our extensive wine list or share a round of beers with friends. BRX also offers semi-private space suitable for business or board meetings.

THE MAN BEHIND IT ALL

Renowned restaurateur, Ashwani Ahluwalia, discovered his taste for the hospitality industry at the young age of 15. In three short years, he graduated with honors from college in Bermuda and joined the prestigious team of chefs at the fine-dining restaurant, Romanoff, in Bermuda.

Ashwani progressed rapidly through his career, gaining extensive experience and honing his natural cooking talents. He made his way to the U.S. from the Grand Cayman Islands, and chose to make the community of Great Falls his home.

As Executive Chef at River Bend Country Club for eight years, and Assistant Manager for his last two years, he was considered family by many members. Subsequently, Ashwani became the General Manager at The Tavern in Great Falls for five years. When he was presented with the opportunity to open BRX in 2009, he created his restaurant to reflect his core values: family, friendship, great food and a strong sense of community.
